If you’ve been following The RV Foodie on Facebook or Instagram, you know that we’ve been on the road for most of the last year, eating and drinking and telling the stories of locally-owned businesses across the U.S. Yes, it’s been as much fun as it sounds. But it’s also serious business. Few industries have been hit as hard by the pandemic as food & beverage. A lot of our friends in the business have closed their doors. Those who are still hanging in there now face all kinds of challenges, including a shortage of staff, the need to retrofit their spaces, lots of new staff who need to be onboarded quickly, supply chain issues, confusion around health guidelines, their own exhaustion. The list goes on.

That’s why, behind all the fun stories you’ve been hearing from me, I’m actually hard at work helping the industry and the people I love. As part of the team at Fryer & Associates, a consultancy that helps mission-driven small businesses and nonprofits “do what’s next,” I’m working with locally owned F&B businesses to develop and implement strategies for sustainability and growth.

If you’re in the biz and think we can help, shoot us an email.

I’ll probably get around to cooking up some more RV Foodie videos before long. In the meantime, be sure to like us on Facebook and Instagram to follow our adventures. Cheers!
