You can’t live on food alone

Sometimes, you have to go kayaking, too. These are pics from Gabby’s first kayak adventure. We had treats. So, although you can’t live on food alone, it comes in handy when you’re trying to coax a puppy into doing something new.

The kayak, by the way, is inflatable. It’s a Sea Eagle SE 370, which is a 3-person kayak, which we bought so that Gabby could come along. Here are the specs, in case you’re in the market. As beginners, trying to learn with a puppy on board, we wanted something easy to set up and easy to use. This one is both. Weighing about 30-lbs, we can carry it without a problem, and it takes not more than about 15-min to set up. We haven’t flipped it yet so, that’s something.

Best place to kayak to date: The Snake River near Banberry Springs, ID. Awesome.
